About Ballybunion

Ballybunion has two fine sandy beaches — the Men's and Ladies' strands — divided by the ruin of a castle on the cliffs, at the mouth of the Shannon in north Kerry. A long-established seaside resort, it is known for its beaches and its traditional seaweed baths.
